- Talk to your neighbors. They may have knowledge of the property’s history or the intentions of the seller.
- Look for advertising such as ads in the Miami Herald, mailers, posted flyers and signs.
- Be aware, particularly with large lots of advertising with descriptions as “tear-down”, “developable lot”, “sale for land value”, or “perfect for two homes”. If you see this type of sign, please notify the Planning and Zoning Department. They can monitor this scenario.
